1. Description of Vitsil VIT-XF

VIT-XF: is a VitSiL, Acrylic water-based expanding fire-retardant sealant. The fire-retardant sealant helps control the spread of fire/smoke between different fire compartments, smoke and toxic gases before, during and after contact with fire by expanding in volume to fill gaps, voids, etc.

2. Properties of Vitsil VIT-XF

– Water-based acrylic, free of asbestos or fibers

– Easy application

– Short surface maintenance

– Can be painted on the surface of the product when dry

– Good adhesion to concrete, metal, plaster and building material substrates…

– Flexible

– Low VOC (VOC: Volatile Organic Compound)

– Fire resistance up to 4 hours without using any other filling materials.

3. Technical information Vitsil VIT-XF

– Chemical basis: Vitsil VIT-XF expanding fire-resistant sealant is a water-based Acrylic compound with additives.

– Color: Red

– Specific gravity: 1.32 +- 0.05g/cm³

– Swelling ratio 1: 19 times compared to the original volume when the temperature increases

– Base materials: Concrete, wood, metal, plaster and other construction materials…

– Shrinkage volume %: 1-5%

– Optimal construction temperature: +5°C to +45°C

– Application temperature: +5°C to +1000°C

4. Vitsil VIT-XF Application

– Sealing gaps, common locations through walls and floors in different base materials with application systems:

+ Air ducts, air valves, fire dampers and HVAC systems

+ Metal and non-metal pipes

+ Single cable and bundled cable included

+ Pipe with insulation

5. Specification: One 310ml bottle - one carton of 12 bottles

6. Storage and use:

– Store products in cool, dry places.

– Keep and store at temperatures below 40°C

– Avoid direct exposure to sunlight

– Expiry date: 18 months from date of manufacture (see on bottle)

7. Caution:

– Keep out of reach of children

– Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Use gloves before applying VitSil: VIT-XF fire-resistant expansion sealant

– Avoid freezing, direct sunlight and temperatures above 40°C when in use

– If eyes come into contact with the product, rinse immediately with plenty of water.

– Do not use this product for medical purposes, do not inject and human body.

– Do not use for fish tanks or locations in constant contact with water, not suitable for joints requiring elasticity and underwater.
