In 1956, the name Loctite was chosen by Krieble's daughter-in-law, Nancy Brayton Krieble. The LOCTITE brand was officially launched to the public at a press conference at the University Club of New York on July 26 of that year.

After 44 years of development with many great achievements, in 1997, Loctite was acquired by Henkel, a German Fortune 500 company as a leading brand.
