What is LOCTITE glue, history of the LOCTITE brand
LOCTITE is an American brand of adhesives, sealants and surface treatments, including acrylic, anaerobic, cyanoacrylate, epoxy, hot melt, silicone, urethane and UV/light cure technologies. Loctite products are sold globally and used in a variety of industrial applications.
In 1953, American professor Vernon K. Krieble developed an anaerobic thread sealant in his basement laboratory at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. Krieble's company, American Sealants, created the Loctite brand, which was promoted as ushering in a new era of mechanical reliability by eliminating vibrational loosening of mechanical fasteners, a frequent cause of machine failure. In 1956, the name Loctite was chosen by Krieble's daughter-in-law, Nancy Brayton Krieble. The LOCTITE brand was officially launched to the public at a press conference at the University Club of New York on July 26 of that year.
After 44 years of development with many great achievements, in 1997, Loctite was acquired by Henkel, a German Fortune 500 company as a leading brand. Since then, Loctite has remained a key brand of Henkel and is a supplier of household adhesives, epoxies, spray adhesives, construction and home repair adhesives, sealants and fillers. In recent years, the company has increased its focus on green and sustainable technologies.

Instructions for using Loctite 2760 glue
Clean the bonding surface with loctite cleaning solvent and then wipe dry. Be aware of any rough thread contamination that may affect the clearance.
If the adhesion speed is slow, you can use additional Loctite activator 7471 or 7649.
The glue should be shaken well before use. To prevent clogging in the nozzles, do not insert a metal rod to clear it.
For threaded holes: Drop the product onto the threaded post and threaded hole. Install the thread immediately after applying the glue.
For blind threaded holes. Apply a few drops to the bottom and around the hole. Fit the fitting in place.
For seals: Apply glue around and spread evenly.
To remove objects that have been treated with loctite 2760. With standard hand tools, no removal is required.
Non-hand tools will not work if the length is excessive and the diameter is greater than 1 in (2.54 cm). Use a 250 C heat gun to remove.
Clean up excess adhesive with Loctite cleaning solvent. Refer to MSDS information.
