Hilti CP606 is a water-based, fire-resistant silicone sealant designed to seal expansion joints between 6mm and 30mm wide. It can withstand temperatures up to 1000°C and prevents the spread of fire, smoke and vapour for 2 to 4 hours. Hilti CP606 also provides effective sound insulation and water resistance. It has been tested to international standards such as BS476-PT20 and UL.

Hilti CP606 glue is a Hilti product that is widely used worldwide, so the construction process is very simple. This product is mainly used for two types of locations: filling gaps and filling pipe collars. Below are the specific construction steps:
Construction of filling gaps
- Clean all cracks and openings, removing dirt, grease and other foreign materials.
- Insert the cushioning material, PU base material – Hilti Foam into the gap, leaving a space of 3mm to 10mm for the silicone glue layer.
- Inject Hilti CP606 Adhesive into the remaining space, ensuring it is completely filled and free of air bubbles.
- Use specialized tools such as a razor, ruler or plastic sheet to flatten and shape the silicone layer.
- Allow adhesive to dry for 24 hours before painting or contacting.
Construction of pipe neck sealing
- Clean around the pipe hole, remove dirt, grease and other foreign materials.
- Insert the cushioning material, PU – Hilti Foam base material into the pipe hole, leaving a space of 3mm to 10mm for the silicone glue layer.
