Zinc Guard 151 Cold Zinc Spray Paint (ZG151 400ml) is a light gray cold zinc spray paint, packaged in a 400ml spray bottle, imported directly from Australia (EMONRA). The product is certified by Quartest 3 for its dry zinc content of 95%, providing anti-electrochemical corrosion function, meeting high corrosion resistance conditions such as seawater and chemicals. Widely used in repairing galvanized layers (such as welding and cutting metal), anti-rust, resurfacing galvanized layers and painting galvanized surfaces.
DESCRIBE:
– Convenient and easy to use spray bottle.
– The zinc content in the coating reaches 95%, providing anti-corrosion function equivalent to hot-dip galvanizing. (Meeting ASTM E1645-01 standard with zinc content of 95.24%, tested at the Center for Technical Standards and Quality Measurement 3 (Quartest 3) No.: KT3-09386MT6, issued on September 23, 2016).
– With acrylic resin base, paint dries quickly in 5-10 minutes (to = 25 o C).
– Withstands cold environments – 20 o C
– High scratch and abrasion resistance. Withstands impact in strong chemical environments and seawater environments.
– High temperature resistance up to 300 o C.
– Origin: Australia
– Manufacturer: EMONRA

APPLICATION:
Hot Dip Galvanizing Replacement:
– Repair hot-dip galvanized coating damaged by welding, cutting, drilling holes.
– Paint to restore hot-dip galvanized surfaces due to environmental corrosion.
– Galvanizing at the construction site or production site without having to bring it to a hot-dip galvanizing workshop.
– Bright zinc gray color is equivalent to electroplated zinc color so it can be used as primer (1 coat) or topcoat (2 coats). The paint can be combined with other traditional paints (acrylic or epoxy) to create the desired color.
Typical Applications:
– Electric poles, lighting poles, parabolic towers, radar stations, telecommunication poles.
– Construction structure: wharf, factory, fence, offshore equipment, tanks, pipelines, bridge railings, galvanized steel sheet.
– Machinery and equipment, power transformer stations, power transmission, high voltage grid.
– Electricity, oil and gas, transportation, aquaculture, industrial plants or public works.
“The product is highly effective in highly corrosive environments such as: seawater, chemicals, fertilizers and places with high temperatures”
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
a/ Surface Treatment
– Grease, dirt and humid air can affect the adhesion of the spray film, so clean grease and dirt with alcohol or industrial gasoline to completely dry the surface.
– Clean all rust on the surface with sandblasting gun, grinder or specialized acidic cleaning solutions.
b/ How to Use
– Shake well for at least 1 minute to evenly distribute the solution in the spray bottle.
– Spray evenly on the surface of the material or the area to be sprayed. Keep the spray distance at 30cm.
– Spray a thin layer with a drying time of 15 minutes and a completely hard paint time of 24-36 hours.
– After 12-24 hours, you can apply a second coat.
– After spraying, turn the spray bottle upside down, gently squeeze the spray cap for 2-3 seconds to clear the air tube to avoid clogging when left in the air for a long time.
