SM4L (Silver Zinc Compound) galvanized paint is a 1-component galvanized compound derived from epoxy resin, pure zinc powder (95% pure zinc) and toluene, DME solvent. The paint is packaged in 4-liter drums (brush, roll or spray) used to prime or coat metal under normal conditions like other traditional paints. The paint is imported directly from Korea and dries very quickly in 5-10 minutes and can be touched by hand. After drying, the metal is protected by a cold galvanized layer with a zinc content of up to 95% zinc, providing high anti-rust and anti-corrosion functions, widely used in metal welding and cutting, zinc compensation and hot-dip galvanizing repair.
DESCRIBE:

APPLICATION:
Hot Dip Galvanizing Replacement
– Repair hot-dip galvanized coating damaged by welding, cutting, drilling holes.
– Paint to restore hot-dip galvanized surfaces due to environmental corrosion.
– Galvanizing at the construction site or production site without having to bring it to a hot-dip galvanizing workshop.
– The color is similar to hot-dip galvanizing, so it can be used as a primer (1 coat) or topcoat (2 coats). The paint can be combined with other traditional paints (alkyd or epoxy) to create the desired color.
Typical Applications:
– Electric poles, lighting poles, parabolic towers, radar stations, telecommunication poles.
– Construction structure: wharf, factory, fence, offshore equipment, tanks, pipelines, bridge railings, galvanized steel sheet.
– Machinery and equipment, power transformer stations, power transmission, high voltage grid.
– Electricity, oil and gas, transportation, aquaculture, industrial plants or public works.
“The product is highly effective in highly corrosive environments such as: seawater, chemicals, fertilizers and places with high temperatures”
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
a/ Surface Treatment
– Grease, dirt and humid air can affect the adhesion of the spray film, so clean grease and dirt with alcohol or industrial gasoline to completely dry the surface.
– Clean all rust on the surface with sandblasting gun, grinder or specialized acidic cleaning solutions.
b/ How to Use
– Stir the solution for at least 10 – 15 minutes to mix the mixture well.
– Can add solvent (xylene, aromatic gasoline or cream gasoline) at a ratio of 5-10% by volume (if using brush or roller), 10-15% by volume (if using spray gun)
– Brush, roll or spray 1 layer onto the product to be galvanized, after 15 minutes the surface will dry quickly (can be touched), and after 12-24 hours the paint film will be completely dry.
– Can apply second coat after 12-24 hours.
– Clean painting tools (brush, roller or spray gun) for next use.
