1. Introduction: Rust Bullet USA is the world's leading manufacturer in the field of rust inhibition and metal corrosion control, with over 10 years of experience specializing in researching products of "anti-corrosion paint used directly on rusted or unrusted metal surfaces" including Rust Bullet Standard. This product is certified with 2 US patents (Two United States Pantents), surpassing ASTM standards, ISO 9001:2008 quality management system...
2. Outstanding Features of Rust Bullet ColorShell Paint:
– Rust Bullet Colorshell is a 1-component paint so it is easy to use and maintain.
– Rust Bullet Colorshell is used directly on rusted metal surfaces without the need for surface cleaning, reducing surface cleaning costs (sandblasting, shot blasting or mechanical grinding), reducing labor and rust treatment time.
– Paint is topcoated according to ANSI Z535 (OSHA) color standard system on Rust Bullet Standard anti-corrosion primer.
– Excellent resistance to UV sunlight, chemicals, salt mist and high impact resistance.
– Rust Bullet ColorShell only needs 2 coats of 150 micrometers thick, the paint will last over 10 years.
– With a standard rate of each liter of paint covering 8-10m2 with a thickness of 150 µm.
– Rust Bullet ColorShell can withstand temperatures from 200oC.
– Solvent used: Xylene or manufacturer's solvent.
– Made in USA (rustbullet.com)
– Packaging: 1 Gallon (3.79 Liters), 1 Quart (950ml), Pint (470ml), 1/4Pint (120ml)

Current Applications: |
– Construction structure: wharf, factory, fence, offshore equipment, tanks, pipelines, rig base. – Shipbuilding and repair plants, prefabricated steel buildings, workshops (corrugated iron roofs), wastewater treatment plants (tanks and systems), steel structures, petroleum and chemical tanks, fertilizer processing plants, nitrogen plants and paper mills, chemical plants, automobile building and repair plants. – Electricity, oil and gas, hydroelectricity, transportation, aquaculture, industrial plants and other projects. Suitable for all rusted metals and especially suitable for highly corrosive environments such as seawater and chemicals. |
4. Instructions for Use:
Surface treatment:
– For new steel: just clean grease and dirt with alcohol or industrial gasoline to completely dry the surface.
– For iron and steel with light and medium rust: No need to clean the surface.
– For heavily rusted iron and steel: Lightly clean (scrub) the heavily rusted areas so that the surface of the rusted iron and steel is relatively bonded together.
How to use:
– Stir the solution thoroughly for about 10-15 minutes before painting.
– Apply Rust Bullet ColorShell paint directly onto new or rusted metal surfaces, only need to apply 2 coats with a thickness of 100-150 micrometers. The time between 2 coats is 2-72 hours in normal environmental conditions, do not paint in humid environments. After using Rust Bullet Standard primer, you can apply topcoat with colors such as Red, Orange, Green, Blue, Purple from the Rust Bullet ColorShell paint system and it is resistant to UV sunlight.
– Can be applied by brush, roller, pressure spray gun (6.0-7.5 kg/cm2).
– Solvent used: This is a specialized paint for direct use so there is no need to mix additional solvents. If it is necessary to mix solvents, you can use xylene or the manufacturer's solvent at a ratio of 5-10% by volume (according to the manufacturer's recommendation).
5. Storage:
– Paint is flammable so avoid contact with heat sources.
– Store in a dry place.
– Keep out of reach of children.
– In case of not using it all, you can close the lid to use it next time, avoid contact with air for too long.
