Sellock Bear Retainer 3641 is ideal for filling gaps up to 203.3 microns in diameter tolerance. It is widely used in bearing mounting locations, sleeve bushings and oil seals.

Construction instructions:

1. Surface preparation:

Clean all contact surfaces (external and internal) with a specialist cleaner. Allow solvent to evaporate completely before application.

2. Shake the glue well:

Shake Sellock Bear Retainer 3641 well before use to ensure quality.

3. Use activator:

If the contact surface is an inactive metal or has a slow cure rate, use a booster activator to improve the effect.

4. Install the slide assembly:

Apply adhesive around the leading edge of the pin and the inside of the washer. Use a rotary motion during assembly to ensure the adhesive is evenly distributed.

5. Install the press:

Apply adhesive thoroughly to both bonding surfaces and perform assembly at high pressing speed for optimum results.

6. Install the shrink assembly:

For shrunken assemblies, coat the pin with glue and heat the washer to create enough clearance for free-flow assembly.

7. Disassembly:

To disassemble, locally heat the assembly to approximately 250°C and disassemble while hot.
