Using BC Bitumen Coating:
BC Bitumen Coating is easy to remove formwork and clean.
BC Bitumen Coating can be diluted to create a waterproof membrane for load-bearing structures.
BC Bitumen Coating is used for the following types:
- Masonry surface.
- Reinforced concrete.
- All types of concrete structures.
- All structures such as ceramic or porcelain.
- Asbestos sheet, cement mortar layer.
Advantages of BC Bitumen Coating:
BC Bitumen Coating is not a finishing coating, durable to large temperature changes
BC Bitumen Coating affects the following properties:
- Easy to construct.
- Combined physical and chemical effects
- Make the concrete surface smooth and beautiful
- Leaves no marks on concrete surfaces.
BC Bitumen Coating is suitable for formwork used in humid curing environments.

BC Bitumen Coating Specifications
Specific gravity: ≈ 1.0
Flexibility: In the form of a soft liquid film at high temperatures
Inertness
Chemical resistance: Resistant to water, alkali, most salt solutions, some mild acids and alkalis
Fire resistance: Liquid: non-flammable
Dry form: non-flammable
Heat resistance:
Once hardened, it does not melt or sag under the influence of direct sunlight.
Construction of BC Bitumen Coating
Rate: Base layer: 0.075 – 0.1 kg/m2 (dilute with clean water according to the ratio BC: Water = 1:1)
Undiluted layer: 0.60 kg/m2
Surface preparation:
For new surfaces: Brushes or wooden boards may be used to clean loosely adhered samples, these surfaces must be approved. Any spots larger than 3 mm must be scraped off.
For old painted surfaces: All stains on the surface must be cleaned with a hard brush and microorganisms must be cleaned with a suitable fungicide and wait about 24 hours then wash with clean water.
For brittle lime surfaces: Clean and let dry (about 24 hours). For cracks, fill and let dry, then apply BC Bitumen Coating with fiberglass mesh. Concrete debris must be cleaned.
Construction conditions
Construction temperature: not below +5oC
Construction instructions:
Mixing: If using as a base coat, add the predetermined amount of clean water and stir well.
If used as a coating, simply stir and then apply.
Construction method/tools:
Make sure the surface is dry before applying BC Butimen Coating.
The primer coat must be applied thoroughly to ensure a firm finish and allowed to dry. The second coat can be applied as normal, thicker, with a good brush and then allowed to dry. Clean tools immediately after use with clean water.
Do not apply this product in wet weather or under direct sunlight.
Cleaning of Tools: Rinse all equipment and tools immediately after use with clean water. Once this product has dried, use mechanical means to clean.
Drying time: Under normal conditions, it is 4-6 hours, but in general, the best waiting time between two coats is 24 hours (when you can rub a wet finger down the newly applied surface and see no color change, it is dry).
Note during construction: Scaffolding must be assembled independently without affecting the construction. All defects in the structure must be repaired before constructing BC Bitumen Coating.
