Sika Latex TH Applications:

Sika® Latex TH is a high quality emulsion that significantly improves the quality of cement mortar such as:

Construction of Sika Latex TH

Instructions for use Surface preparation:

Concrete surface must be clean, in good, solid condition, free from grease, cement dust and other adhesive impurities.

Saturate the entire absorbent surface but do not leave standing water.

1. Bonding agent for plaster/bonding old and new concrete

Mixing ratio:

Add 4 kg of cement to the mixture of 1 liter of Sika® Latex TH + 1 liter of water = a layer of bonding mortar, which can cover about 4 m2.

2. Waterproof floor plaster

· Mixing ratio: Cement : Sand = 1 : 3 (1)

Sika Latex TH : Water = 1 : 3 (2)

Pour mixture (2) into (1) and mix until it reaches the appropriate consistency for application.

Sika® Latex TH application:

Apply the waterproof mortar layer while the bonding mortar layer is still wet.

Consumption rate: 1 litre Sika® Latex TH / m2 for 2 cm thick mortar layer.

Cleaning: Clean all tools and equipment with clean water immediately after use.

Important Instructions

Always mix cement into Sika® Latex TH -water mixture as bonding agent.

Follow standard maintenance practices.

Always saturate the work surface but do not allow standing water.

If applying multiple coats, apply while the previous coat is still wet.
