Terraco Weathercoat GP is a two-component cementitious and acrylic resin based waterproofing product with excellent elastic coating properties for use on masonry and concrete substrates.

• Terraco Weathercoat GP forms a highly elastic waterproof membrane, ideal for use on balconies, swimming pools and wet room applications.
• Weathercoat GP has a long life and is ideal for use in areas with harsh climatic conditions.
• The product can be applied by brush, roller or spray and once cured it has good resistance to adverse weather conditions.

TERRACO WEATHERCOAT GP CONSTRUCTION INSTRUCTIONS

Surface preparation

• Make sure that all dust, dirt and foreign matter is scraped off and removed.
• Also ensure surfaces are free of salt, oil, grease and burrs, and protect all adjacent surfaces not to be worked on.
• If the surface of the area at the time of repair is dry, it is necessary to dampen the surface before applying Weathercoat GP.

Use and cleaning of tools

• Mix the components in the proportions as given in the Technical Specifications and apply in 2 to 3 coats to achieve an overall thickness of 1.5-2.0 mm with an overall material consumption of 2.7kg – 3.7kg/m2.
• Add the powder to the resin and use a mixer to achieve a lump-free, homogeneous mixture.
• Use brush or spray to apply, Time between coats is 3 hours.
• Terraseal mix should be used within 1 hour.
• Construction tools and equipment must be cleaned with water immediately after use .

SAFETY & HEALTH

Avoid prolonged contact with eyes and skin. For details, refer to relevant material safety data sheet.

PACKING & STORAGE

• Terraco Weathercoat GP is supplied in kit form: 10 kg plastic cans and 20 kg powder bags.
• Store the container in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme heat and cold.
• Unopened cans can be stored for 12 months. Use oldest material first.
