1. How many colors can you combine in a mosaic?

The actual number of colors is determined by the design being created. We have found that it is not necessary to use more than 30 colors to achieve the right saturation. Most of our designs use less than 15 colors.

In addition, we also have many different model sets suitable for many different countries.

2. Can you combine different tile sizes in the same mosaic?

Our 3/8” and ¾” Vitreous Glass can be used together. However, this will be a special order at additional cost.

3. I like a design in KST's collection; can I customize the color or material?

Absolutely. All of our designs are fully customizable. We can adjust the orientation, scale, tile material, and color to best suit your application.

4. Do you have any mosaics available that I can use?

We have a wide range of tiles and colours available, but thanks to our unique technology, all our designs are made to order. This gives us the flexibility to customise any mosaic for any application.

5. Can you create murals or patterns from the artwork I provide?

Yes. Our designers can work with any form of inspiration, such as photos, drawings, fine art, watercolors, etc. We provide you with an exact rendering of the image on tiles for your review prior to production.

6. What resolution images do you need for your software?

Since the highest resolution of our tile material is approximately 3 tiles per inch, we recommend using an image that is 10px per inch of mosaic. For example, if your mosaic is 168” x 72”, your image should be 1680 x 720px.

7. How quickly can I get my custom mosaic drawing?

Our normal design drawing turnaround time is 1-3 days. If you really need the drawing on the same day, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

9. How do I start the process of designing my custom mosaic?

All we need to start the design process is the dimensions of the space you want to design (an estimate is enough to start) and a design guideline. The design guideline can be a photo to replicate, one of KST’s designs, a pattern sample, a fabric sample, etc. We will then provide you with an exact drawing of what your mosaic image will look like on whatever type of tile you want. We will work with you to create the ideal tile solution for your space.
