X'traseal MS-617 290ml Multi-purpose Outdoor Sealant is a product based on Hibryd technology. MS-617 is a one-component, odorless adhesive suitable for all industrial applications, especially in the construction of advertising signs even in adverse conditions. The adhesive has good adhesion to most substrates. It can be painted with most paints and is weather resistant in all climates. Wide temperature range and will not form bubbles even in high humidity conditions. MS-617 is an ideal all-in-one product for partitions, gap filling, sealing outdoors and indoors.

STRUCTURAL DESIGN:

The size of the glue line should be calculated according to the compression and expansion ratio of the glue at the location of use to match the width and expansion of the material.

MS-617 has an expansion coefficient of 50%. The minimum mathematical width of the formula is as follows:

• M = Maximum displacement of the joint
• MAF = Simple On-Site Index of Adhesive

To ensure connection and bonding, the location of the glue must ensure a minimum glue line size of 6mm. The depth of the joint must not be less than 6mm and not more than 10mm. According to the 2:1 ratio between width and depth, the width can be 20mm wide. Depending on the type of material used, the appropriate joint depth can be used.

The ratio between depth and width:

• 6mm x 6mm
• 6mm x 12mm
• 10mm x 20mm

USE:

• Surface must be free of dust, grease, cleaning agents and metal residue. Wipe surface dry before application.
• Use masking tape to cover close-up areas to prevent glue from spilling out. The tape can then be removed when the job is complete.
• Cut the sealing head of the glue bottle. Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle to fit the size of the area to be applied. Spray the nozzle into the glue bottle and attach the glue bottle to the gun.
• Apply glue evenly to the decorations to be used.
• Use construction tools to ensure the gloss of the glue during construction.

DRYING TIME:

MS-617 will form a thin layer on the surface after about 20 minutes and will not reach a depth of 10 mm after about 7 days. Actual drying time may be longer depending on time and air humidity.

COATING ABILITY:

MS-617 Multipurpose Outdoor Adhesive can be painted with all types of water-based paints. However, when using large quantities of paints and varnishes, we recommend that you check the compatibility before use. Base paints may have longer drying times.

NOTE: MS-617 has better recovery than clear paint, cracks may appear on the surface at the location of use with large expansion

CHEMICAL PROPERTIES:

Good for use in water, organic acids and salt environments

Delicate use in concentrated acid environment, alkaline solution, organic solvent and hydrocarbon compound.

CLEANING:

Excess glue before drying is easily removed with mineral oil and cleaning solvent. After hardening can only be cleaned with learning tools.

RESTRICTIONS:

MS-617 Multipurpose Outdoor Glue is not suitable for the following materials:

• PE, PP, PTFE, soft plastic, asphalt surface
• Structural glass
• Space area without air humidity and conditions necessary for glue to harden
• Underwater tool applications
• Large vibration surface
• Locations exposed to corrosive environments and chemicals
• Location in direct contact with food.
