Tempered glass, or tempered glass, is a type of safety glass that has been processed by a controlled chemical or thermal process to increase its strength compared to regular glass. The tempering process applies stress to the outer surface and pressure to the inner surface. These stresses cause the glass to shatter into small granules rather than sharp, jagged shards like flat glass (also known as annealed glass). These granules are less likely to cause injury.

Product Description

Description of tempered float glass.

Tempered glass is produced by heating annealed glass in a furnace at 620°C. After leaving the furnace, the glass is rapidly cooled by a stream of cold air, creating compressive stress on the surface while the middle part retains its tensile strength. Tempered glass is 4-5 times stronger than annealed glass of the same thickness.
Better resistance to thermal breakage than annealed or tempered glass

If the glass breaks, it will break into small cubic pieces, which are not dangerous to humans.

1) The main thickness of tempered glass should be 2-19mm.
2) Minimum size is 300*300mm.
Other sizes can be customized.
3) Materials can be clear float glass, super clear float glass, colored glass of all colors and patterned glass.
4) Edge processing: flat edge , round edge, pencil edge, C-edge, beveled edge...etc.
5) Tempering method: Physical tempering, chemical tempering.
