Mizone Bentonite Waterstop is made from flexible butyl rubber combined with expanding bentonite. When the product comes into contact with water, it seals pores and capillaries in the construction joint area while creating internal pressure to prevent water from seeping through.
Bentonite Waterstop is placed at least 50 mm (02 inches) from the outer concrete edge.
The volume expansion creates a positive pressure on the concrete expansion joint surface and prevents water from seeping into the structure.
