Terraco Handycoat DP putty is a dry putty for smoothing surfaces and cracks used for interiors.

• Handycoat DP is a dry, cementitious admixture used as a filler and bonding agent for gypsum board.
• It provides a high quality surface, including a paintable surface. Handycoat DP is specially formulated for painters to repair and improve old and new interior surfaces prior to painting.

• Unlike conventional sealants, Handycoat DP is elastic, non-flaking, durable and maintains adhesion.

Terraco Handycoat DP putty is ideal for filling hairline cracks on walls and ceilings, repairing damaged paint and plaster, or re-filling joints such as around doors and borders.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING TERRACO HANDYCOAT DP INTERIOR PUTTY

Surface preparation

• Clean dust, dirt, oil stains & scrape off excess, rough materials. To reinforce peeling surfaces, it is recommended to prime with Penetrating Primer.
• When using Handycoat DP on old painted surfaces, wash first with soda / water solution and allow to dry before applying Handycoat DP.

How to mix

• Apply Handycoat DP wall putty in thin layers and let dry.
• Apply a second coat (if required) to achieve the required flatness. No sanding is necessary between coats. Light sanding and painting can be done after 24 hours.
• Rinse thoroughly with clean water after use.

PACKAGING AND STORAGE

• Product is packed in 20kg bags
• Store in a cool, dry place, away from extreme heat or cold. The product can be stored for 6 months in unopened packaging.

• Store in a cool, dry, clean place, away from direct sunlight, away from extreme heat or cold.
• Unopened packaging can be stored for 12 months.
• First produced goods must be used first.

• Keep in a safe place, out of reach of children.
• Do not pour product into drains or water sources.
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of product splashing into eyes, rinse eyes with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
