FRP extrusion profile is a kind of composite material produced by extrusion molding method. It uses glass fiber and its products (such as glass fiber, felt, etc.) as reinforcing material, and thermosetting resin (such as unsaturated polyester resin, epoxy resin, etc.) as matrix material, under the action of tensile force, through special heating molding process, to obtain a fixed cross-sectional shape of the profile.
Production process:
1. Raw material preparation: Select suitable glass fiber to ensure that the strength, length and other indicators meet the requirements; At the same time, according to the performance requirements of the profiles, suitable resins are selected, and additives such as curing agents and accelerators are added proportionally. 2.Fiber impregnation: the glass fiber goes through the resin tank, so that the fiber is completely immersed in the resin, ensuring that the resin can wrap the fiber evenly, providing good adhesion and overall performance to the profile.
3. Extrusion: With the help of a drawing device, the impregnated fiber is drawn at a certain speed through a heated die of a specific shape. In the die, the resin is solidified by heat, thereby gradually forming the shape.
4.Cutting: According to the required length, the continuous casting bar is cut to obtain products that meet actual specifications.
