INSTALLATION

The plastic spacers are working with the glass block.

Original construction method:

1. Prepare necessary materials such as glass bricks, cement, sand and additives.

2. Mix white cement, fine sand, construction adhesive and water in the ratio of 10:10:0.3:3 to form mortar.

3. Install the “ + ” type , “ T ” type or “ L ” type positioning bracket .

4. Use mortar to build each layer of glass bricks from bottom to top.

5. After completing the glass bricks, remove the plates on the positioning bracket.

6. Use a grease knife to sew the glass tiles together to remove excess mortar.

7. Wipe off the grout on the glass tiles with a damp cloth promptly.

Second construction method:

1. Prepare enough "+" fixing pads and long pieces to determine the height.

2. Where the plan is to be built, the wooden frame has been pre-made.

3. After the wooden frame is completed, people will prepare specialized glue for glass bricks.

4. Apply the adjusted glue to the side of the glass block, starting from the bottom corner of the frame and gluing one block at a time.

5. The fixed distance of the frame at the edge or corner of the wooden frame must be "L" or "T" for easy fixing of the edge or corner.

6. After placing the first glass tile in each row, insert a long wooden piece as a horizontal fixing plate.

7. Then remove the outer leaking part of the fixed gasket frame and remove the excess glue in the gap.

8. After 8-12 hours, inject different colored silicone into the gap between the glass bricks to enhance the structural strength.
