Sikatop Seal 107 Application

Sikatop Seal 107 is used for internal and external waterproofing , repair work and protection against frost and de-icing agents. Application areas:

• Waterproofing drinking water tanks
• Basement waterproofing
• Waterproofing terraces and balconies
• Bridge
• Retaining wall
• Fill hairline cracks, not growing cracks.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place with shade.

Shelf life: Minimum 6 months if stored properly in original unopened packaging.

Volumetric density: Component A: ~1.02 kg/liter

Component B: ~1.40 kg/liter (bulk density)

Freshly mixed mortar: ~2.10 kg/liter

Mixing ratio Paste consistency:

Component A : B = 1 : 4.0 (by mass)

Component A : B = 1 : 2.9 (by volume)

Consumption density:

Waterproofing bathroom , terrace, balcony: 1.5 kg/m2/layer

Waterproofing for places with water pressure up to 1m: 1.5 kg/m2/layer

Waterproofing for places with water pressure above 1m or frost protection: 2.0 kg/m2/layer

Always apply two coats.

Note: 3 coats may be required for areas with severe water seepage.

Construction time: ~ 30 minutes (at temperature 27oC/ ambient humidity 65%).

Flexural strength: ≥ 10 N/mm2 (28 days), ASTM C-348

Bond strength: ≥ 1.5 N/mm2 (prepared and moistened concrete substrate)

Thickness of each layer: Maximum 2 mm

Construction temperature: Minimum 8oC Maximum 40oC
